How is it going friends! I am sure that there have been some great moments and some challenging moments since we finished our corporate fast.

What an awesome time we had together at church last night!

Thank each one of you that shared a testimony, they were so real, vulnerable and powerful. Do not let the enemy tell you it didn't make a difference or you shouldn't have shared, each one was so needed and encouraged all of us.

Can you believe it? We have come to the last day of our fasting together. It is important for us to realize that this is a new beginning not an ending. When we look at something like this "being over" we have a tendency to let down our spiritual guard and the enemy comes after us.

Can you believe it? Tomorrow is the last day of our corporate fast! In some ways it seems as though this has gone by so quickly and in other ways it seems like it has been a long time. We are so excited as we gather tomorrow night to celebrate all that God has done and is doing in the physical and in the spiritual realms, in the seen and the unseen, in the visible and the invisible. I pray that through this time you have been encouraged in your spirit and challenged in your walk with Jesus.

Last night Ishtar & I were going back over some things the Lord has spoken to us in the past year and we were reminded of a word out of Genesis 26 that I think is apropos for us right now.

We are only a few days away from the end of our 21 Day Corporate Fast. It is time to begin to think about what happens when you reach the end of your fast. It is important to realize this is just a stage on our Christian journey. How do we take the benefits and discipline we have received from this fast and continue to apply them to our walk with Jesus?

This is a good time in our fasting and prayer time to focus on Jesus words, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." I know that we are all believing for many different things we hope to receive from God during or through our fast; breakthrough, bondage's broken, family and friends saved, healings, anointing...all of which are great things. But we must never forget it is often more important what God calls us to give than what it is we will receive.

As you zoom through your day and your week, make sure and remember to surrender yourself to God and His plan throughout your day. I know it is so easy for me to get up and start going and not put my focus on the Lord and His plan for my day. Surrender is a daily and at times a moment by moment process.

As we step into this last week of our Corporate Fast I want to encourage you to GIVE THANKS! One of the greatest challenges we have as followers of Jesus Christ is in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, "Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

I am sure that you are all aware that today is Valentine's Day. Many of you are a bit sad because you do not have a Valentine. Let me remind you that you have the greatest Valentine of all time, Your Heavenly Father!
