In August 2000, four families and several young people, prompted by a common vision, collectively moved to Massachusetts to start a new congregation in the Harvard Square area. Now, nine years after our first service, we have been blessed with a thriving community.

Just as we believe that God had a plan to bring us to the east coast to help start Grace Street, we believe that God has incredible plans for your life, plans that “you would not believe if you were told.” (Habakkuk 1: 5) Our goal is to walk with you as you journey into your future and begin to understand what God has in store for you.

STAFF:

Terry RiCharde

Terry RiCharde: Administrator

Terry focuses a majority of her time coordinating the Sunday service and facilitating the after-school tutoring and cooking classes at The Academy of Public Service High School in Dorchester. Having moved out from northern California with the church plant team, Terry and her husband Neil now live in Newton and host many of the church’s “off-campus” activities. She also makes a mean baked potato soup!

Jessica Schiefer

Jessica Schiefer: Bookeeper

Jessica currently serves as Grace Street’s bookkeeper. Originally from the Seattle area, Jessica, her husband Tim, and their family have been with Grace Street for eight years, serving in a multitude of capacities. The Schiefer’s love to get to know people, and both possess a great capacity to listen to others. Great folks to know!
